Motherpeace Round Tarot

26,50

The creators of Motherpeace Tarot have departed from traditional (and often patriarchal) imagery of tarot, and have instead embraced the goddess spirit. The feminist emphasis is balanced with several male figures present in the deck. Motherpeace’s round cards and primitive artwork allow the reader to rely on intuition rather than standard “black and white” meanings.

The four suits of the Minor Arcana are Cups; Wands, depicted with African culture; Discs, illustrated with Navajo culture; and Swords, depicted with Greco-Roman imagery.

Includes 78 round card and 34-page booklet.

Morgan Greer Tarot

28,50

Based on the structure of the Rider-Waite Tarot, this uniquely expressive deck features magical imagery presented in deep, saturated colors. The borderless 78-card deck allows the details of tarot scenery and symbolism to be viewed from a close, intimate perspective. Morgan-Greer Tarot draws the reader into its evocative artwork. When laid out in a spread, the full scenes on borderless cards create a beautiful picture.

The Morgan-Greer Tarot is the first modern tarot deck based upon the combined research of tarot leaders Arthur Edward Waite and Paul Foster Case. The Case book was used a primer by artist Bill Greer in choosing the colors for the Morgan-Greer deck, so as to “create an emotional reaction to each card even before the image could be looked at in depth.”

Medieval Scapini Tarot

28,50

Italian artist Luigi Scapini’s lavish paintings recreate 15th century Italy in this gold-accented tarot deck. The Major Arcana and court cards have gold backgrounds in the manner of fifteenth-century European decks. Both the Major and Minor Arcana include full scenes. In the Minors, symmetrical arrangements of the suit symbols provide composition around which the scenes are arranged.

The depth of Scapini’s art history expertise is evident in his lush settings and period costumes. Interesting details, and sometimes-humorous references, are cleverly imbedded in the artwork, with many of the cards depicting historical figures, for example, Rasputin as the Knight of Cups. Readers will easily relate to the universal situations revealed in the cards, for pleasurable and insightful readings.

Deviant Moon Tarot – borderless

22,50

Stylized characters and moonlit dreamscapes draw you into the luminescent world of Deviant Moon Tarot. With larger cards, this special Borderless Edition highlights Patrick Valenza’s stunning artwork and allows readers to connect more deeply with the evocative tarot imagery.

Talented artist Patrick Valenza presents uniquely alternative interpretations of traditional tarot with symbolism inspired by childhood dreams. Stylized moon-faced characters created from manipulated photographs of 18th century tombstones are set against evocative backgrounds. Incorporated into the artwork are surreal scenes of distant smoke stacks, insane asylums and abandoned buildings.

Valenza’s booklet gives interesting card descriptions and interpretations, both upright and reversed. The symmetric card backs, showing different phases of the moon, allow for reversed readings. Also included in the booklet is a unique ten-card spread called the Lunatic Spread, which mimics the shape of the full moon, and derives energy from its circular pattern.

Deviant Moon Tarot has drawn something of a cult following and was voted as the Top Tarot Deck of All Time by Aeclectic Tarot readers.
