Waite, Arthur Edward

""

A. E. Waite 1857 -1942. A. E. Waite is known to many as the creator of the most famous Tarot of all times. Together with Pamela Colman Smith, he followed the old traditions of the classic Tarot, but enriched its symbols considerably and also equipped all the number cards with pictorial scenes. The importance lies especially in the fact that the teachings of classical esotericism were made usable and could be used for a personal belief and orientation in everyday life.
